Proudly organised by Origame, the Play Play Fair (PPF) celebrates and showcases Singaporean board game design. Come together and experience the joy of playing board games!

WHO

  • If you're curious to try Singaporean board games, or board games in general, this fair is for you.

  • If you want to buy or sell pre-loved board games at the Bazaar, this fair is for you.

  • If you're between 6 to 106 and love to have fun, this fair is for you!

WHERE

The Play Play Fair is happening on Sat-Sun, 15-16 Jun 2024, @ Fusionopolis, Singapore, from 10am-7pm. 

  • Public transport: Stop at one-north MRT station (CC23) and take the escalator up to level 1

  • Driving: Sat & Sun, $1.00/entry from 7am to 7am the following day

WHY ATTEND?

PPF 2024 will host:

  • 16 publishers and 45 tables of play, including tables for both open gaming and demos

  • The latest games from designers and publishers in Singapore

  • Fan-favourites from Asia and the West

  • Tournaments for children and adults

  • Meet your favourite local designers and publishers in-person

  • Board game bundles and great discounts

PPF 2024 welcomes players of all ages and experience levels. Come alone or with your friends and family to partake in the joy of playing board games! 

REGISTRATION

Registration is not compulsory but highly recommended. Registration is free and will qualify you for the lucky dips taking place during the fair.  

BAZAAR
BOARD GAMES BAZAAR

​SELLERS

  1. Read the rules of the Board Game Bazaar here

  2. Select the games you want to list and sell on the Bazaar

  3. Label the games clearly with the price and your name and phone number for PayNow

  4. Visit the Bazaar Listings on the Forum and list your games with the same information as step 3

  5. Display your games on the Bazaar shelves on Sat, 15 Jun, by 12pm

  6. Collect your unsold games from the Bazaar shelves by the end of the Play Play Fair on Sun, 16 Jun, 7pm

BUYERS

  1. If you see a game you would like to buy on the shelf or the Bazaar Listings, use PayNow to transfer payment to the seller and verify that payment has been made

  2. Take the game away from the shelf and give it a good home

TOURNAMENTS
KOPI KING TOURNAMENT

The Kopi King Tournaments for kids and adults will be held on the first day of the Play Play Fair, Saturday, 15 Jun, from 4-6pm. The winner for each tournament stands to win a $100 voucher from The Mind Cafe! 

​The Buffet Boss Tournaments for kids and adults will be held on the second day of the Play Play Fair, Sunday, 16 Jun, from 4-6pm. The winner for each tournament stands to win a $100 voucher from The Mind Cafe!

OUR EXHIBITORS

Action for Change in Southeast Asia (ActSEA) is a regional collective committed to equity and sustainability in Southeast Asia. In Singapore, our current efforts focus on climate education, research, and capacity building.

Ameba games was born out of the desire to create unique tabletop games that carry our brand of humour and quirkiness.

We are focused on party and casual strategy games that both beginners and seasoned players can enjoy.

Boardverse is a Singaporean boardgame company established by a group of friends who enjoy the fun, laughter, and thrills of tabletop gaming. We promise to deliver quality games that have been refined through countless playtests and iterations before reaching its official release.

Curious Chimeras is an indie game studio based in Singapore, designing playable experiences and tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs). We draw inspiration from Asian histories and cultures to make immersive storytelling games that can be played alone or with friends. Experience a different genre of tabletop gaming, and try bite-sized snippets of our TTRPGs at Play Play Fair!

Good Spirit Games is an indie game studio founded by Geoffrey Chia in Singapore with a vision to expand the tabletop gaming culture. Dedicated to creating fun with human interaction, Geoffrey’s first published game under the studio is ‘Contraband Insider’.

Conceptualised by early childhood educators and specially designed by our in-house illustrators, Growing Up’s Educational Games makes for a fun and interactive way to help children learn and reinforce important concepts and train a variety of useful skill sets.

King and the Pawn opened in 2018 as a one-of-a-kind board game cafe and bar on Purvis Street. Fú is our first game, which we have designed explicitly to suit our customers’ preferences for family-friendly, highly interactive games with relatable themes.

Kodecco is a Singapore-based board game development company founded by Mae and Yang. What began as a hobby has quickly evolved into a dedicated pursuit of crafting immersive and engaging social deduction games. Our designs are pixel-based, reflecting our love for the retro gaming style!

Kodrah Kristang is the internationally recognised grassroots volunteer effort to revive the creole/indigenous Kristang language, culture and identity in Singapore, led by the Kabesa or leader of the Kristang people of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Kevin Martens Wong, and founded in February 2016.

Founded by a husband and wife team, MooMeeNyu Designs hopes to design geeky games for the likes of us. Daniel is the lead game designer. Anne is the hobby artist. Together, they seek to create fun and unusual games that are able to evoke creative and clever play amongst family and friends.

We design and publish Modern Asian Board Games.

Playlogue Creations is a small tabletop game publisher in Singapore that strives to enrich conversations on different issues through game design, storytelling and collaboration. We design beautiful, well-crafted games for gamers and clients.

Based in sunny Singapore, we craft games that are Simple, yet packed with Substance. We prioritize Fun and Functionality, honing the power of games to bring people together, creating memories that transcend the tabletop.

SalvageGarden is the first Assistive Tech Makerspace in Southeast Asia. Community Makerspace focused on Assistive Tech, low-cost bespoke solutions for persons with disabilities, and openSourced hardware. Participatory space for self driven learning-by-doing. Makers of TechForGood.

Swaggy Games is an indie Singapore-based tabletop design studio on a mission to create games that both new and experienced gamers can enjoy.

In the spring of 2016, a group of friends came together over a shared love of games and the marvelous worlds they create. Together, we formed The Aerie Games, an indie game design studio. Our dream, to spread a love for well-crafted games, by designing experiences as fun to play as they were to make.
